Dr. Hoda Hamed

Dr. Hoda Hamed is passionate about providing eye and vision care services to diverse communities. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts. Thereafter, she completed her residency in Boston in Community Health Optometry with emphasis on ocular disease. She provides comprehensive eye exams and manages a variety of eye conditions and ocular diseases.

In addition to primary eye care, Dr. Hamed provides several specialty eye care services:

• Pediatric and infant eye exams, diagnosis and management of pediatric eye conditions.
• Myopia control services aimed at controlling progression.
• Low vision exams for individuals with visual impairments and prescription of low vision devices through the Assistive Devices Program.
• Custom rigid and scleral contact lenses for high prescriptions and management of anterior segment conditions.
• Binocular vision evaluation and management of binocular anomalies. 
• Refractive surgery consultation, referrals, and co-management.

Dr. Hamed practices in the lively heart of downtown Toronto and she warmly welcomes all patients.
