Born and raised in Toronto, Dr. Jessica Tran completed her Honours Bachelor of Science at the University of Toronto, where she was an orientation leader and assisted her student council in fundraisers and student events. Continuing her passion for community service while attending the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA, she was the co-president of Lions Club, executive member of Student Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (SVOSH), and travelled to the Dominican Republic to provide eye exams to underserved areas.
Dr. Tran is board certified in both Canada and USA, and her affiliations include the College of Optometrists of Ontario, Ontario Association of Optometrists (OAO) and Canadian Association of Optometrists (CAO). She is bilingual in Vietnamese and has working proficiency in Cantonese. Her interests center around dry eyes, therapeutic contact lens and ocular disease management.
